School Canteen

At both of the School's campuses, The Friends of Newcastle Grammar School operates a modern canteen daily, which provides sandwiches, hot food and a variety of other items for purchase by students. Parents or family members of enrolled students are invited to volunteer for canteen duty by contacting The Friends of Newcastle Grammar School through the School office.

Tyrrell Library

The Tyrrell Library, as does the whole school, embraces two sites: the Hill Campus and the Park Campus. The Hill Campus library services Years 5 - 12, while the Park Campus library caters for Pre-school - Year 4.

Opening Hours
The Hill Campus library is open from 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and during the school vacation.

The Park Campus library operates during school hours.

Resources
Our collection holds 47000 items, including a generous selection of junior and senior fiction and non fiction, journals, videos and catalogued pamphlets. Alice for Windows software is utilised for management of and access to these resources. Tyrrell Library at the Hill Campus houses seventeen personal computers for student use and access to networked facilities offered in the school.
